Letter to the Prime Minister on Residential School Tragedy

Last week, the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation uncovered the remains of 215 children in a mass grave at the site of a former residential school outside Kamloops in B.C.'s southern Interior. This tragedy has had a profound effect on First Nations communities and our country as a whole.

On Monday, May 31, the Hon. Erin O'Toole sent a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stressing the importance of working together to ensure we bring our dark history to light, acknowledge it, learn from it, and ensure nothing like it ever happens again.
